The Peak Tram is one of the world's oldest and most famous funicular railways. Opened in May 1888, the double reversible funicular railway, as it is technically known, rises from 28m to 396m above sea level along a 1.4 km track with a gradient of between 4 to 25.7 degrees. As one of Hong Kong's most popular tourist attractions, the Peak Tram terminates at The Peak Tower shopping and entertainment complex, which has some of the world's greatest panoramic views.

Located at 428 metres above sea level, Sky Terrace 428, the highest viewing terrace in Hong Kong offers stunning 360-degree spectacular panoramic views of the vibrant city – from the stunning cityscape to the tranquillity of green landscape, across Victoria Harbour and the South China Sea.

• Queueing/entry must follow the instructions and arrangements of The Peak Tramways Limited and The Peak Tower Limited.
• Queuing for entry may be required during busy periods. It is recommended to avoid peak hours (16:00 - 19:00) and weekends.
• No tickets that have been used, expired, incomplete, or invalid will be accepted.
• Pets are not allowed on the Peak Tram, except for qualified guide dogs. If you wish to bring pets to other places on the Peak, you may choose to take a taxi. Pets are allowed at The Peak Tower.

• The Peak Tram (round trip) and Sky Terrace 428 entry must be used on the same day.
• Children aged 0 - 2 years enter for free.
• Children aged 3 - 11 years will be charged the child rate (age proof may be required upon request).
• Children aged 12 and above are charged the same rate as adults.
• Seniors aged 65 or above are eligible for a senior discount (age proof may be required upon request).
• If children or seniors do not meet the discount criteria or cannot provide identification, they will be charged at the adult ticket price and the difference will be collected.
