｜Hong Kong Tramways: The Ding Ding Tram

The Hong Kong Tramways, affectionately known as the "Ding Ding Tram," are an inseparable part of Hong Kong's bustling streets. These trams traverse Hong Kong's vibrant commercial heart, passing through areas like Western District, Sheung Wan, Central, Wan Chai, Tai Koo, Shau Kei Wan, and along Victoria Harbour. This historic mode of transport, unique to Hong Kong Island, is actually a type of tram. It's famous for the "ding ding" sound made when the driver presses a foot pedal, hence its popular nickname, the "Ding Ding Tram."

A) Sheung Wan (Western Market) Terminus (308 Des Voeux Road Central, Sheung Wan) to Causeway Bay Terminus

(Cannot alight at the original boarding point; no stops in between.)

B) Causeway Bay Terminus (88 Yee Wo Street, Causeway Bay) to Sheung Wan (Western Market) Terminus

Ticket Collection Point: Western Market Terminus (Collection Time: 09:00~16:05)

Please collect your ticket early! You need to arrive at the tram station 20 minutes before the Tramoramic Tour departure, and boarding closes 10 minutes before departure.

From MTR Sheung Wan Exit B, turn right and walk along Des Voeux Road Central for one minute to see the tram route and station.

Ticket Collection Point： 88 Yee Wo Street, Causeway Bay (Collection Time: 10:55~17:20; please be sure to collect your ticket early to avoid missing the activity)

Please collect your ticket early! You need to arrive at the tram station 20 minutes before the Tramoramic Tour departure, and boarding closes 10 minutes before departure.

• You can enjoy unlimited rides on Hong Kong Tramways' regular tram services for the entire day of your Tramoramic Tour and the following day.
• After completing your Tramoramic Tour, you'll receive a 2-day Ding Ding Tram pass for regular tram services. Just show this pass to the driver when you alight.

• Operating hours are subject to change; please check with the attraction for daily operating hours.

• Once booked, dates cannot be changed. The package is valid only on your selected date and time. You must participate in the Tramoramic Tour on your chosen booking date.
• Please purchase an adult ticket for individuals aged 12 and above. Children aged 4-11 can purchase child tickets. Infants aged 3 and under are free but must be accompanied by a paying adult. Each paying adult may only bring one free infant.
• Please understand that the scenic area may temporarily cancel tours due to force majeure reasons such as technical maintenance or vehicle upkeep.
• In case of severe weather conditions like Red Rainstorm Warning or Black Rainstorm Warning, tours may be cancelled at short notice without prior notification. If the driver informs you of a cancellation, please contact us.
